When "and, but, or, so, yet, for, nor" join two complete sentences, put a comma before the conjunction. Do not use a comma when the conjunction joins only two verbs or phrases.
Saat and, but, or, so, yet, for, nor menggabungkan dua kalimat lengkap, letakkan koma sebelum konjungsi. Jangan memakai koma jika konjungsi hanya menggabungkan dua kata kerja atau frasa.
✔ Benar: The plan was simple, but it worked.
✘ Salah: The plan was simple but, it worked.
→ Perbaikan: Place the comma before "but", not after it.
Tips: Comma + FANBOYS joins two sentences. No comma when the second part has no subject (e.g. "She tested and confirmed it").
