Do not use a comma between a short descriptive title and a name when the title comes directly before it ("the biologist Jane Goodall"). Use commas only when the name is extra information.
Jangan memakai koma antara gelar deskriptif singkat dan nama yang langsung mengikutinya ("the biologist Jane Goodall"). Pakai koma hanya bila nama itu informasi tambahan.
✔ Benar: The novelist Toni Morrison won the Nobel Prize in 1993.
✘ Salah: The novelist, Toni Morrison, won the Nobel Prize in 1993.
→ Perbaikan: Remove the commas: "novelist" and the name work together.
Tips: "Title + name" with no "the … , …" pause takes no commas; "Morrison, a novelist, …" does.
