Verb forms and perfect tenses
Aturan
Use the correct past participle after "have/has/had" (e.g. "has written", not "has wrote"). Use the present perfect for actions continuing to now and the past perfect for an earlier past action.
Gunakan participle lampau yang benar setelah have/has/had (has written, bukan has wrote). Present perfect untuk tindakan yang berlanjut hingga kini, past perfect untuk masa lampau yang lebih awal.
✔ Benar: By 2010, the species had disappeared from the island.
✘ Salah: By 2010, the species had disappear from the island.
→ Perbaikan: Use the past participle "disappeared" after "had".
