Agreement with tricky subjects

ルール

Words such as "each", "every", "one of", "neither" and collective nouns like "team" usually take a singular verb. With "either…or" and "neither…nor", match the verb to the nearer subject.

each、every、one of、neitherやteamのような集合名詞は通常単数扱い。either…or、neither…norでは動詞に近い主語に合わせる。

✔ 正しい文: Each of the samples was tested twice.
