A descriptive phrase at the start of a sentence must describe the noun that comes right after the comma. Otherwise it is a dangling modifier.

✔ Верно: Walking along the beach, Ana found a fossil.
✘ Неверно: Walking along the beach, a fossil was found by Ana.
→ Исправление: The person walking (Ana) must come right after the comma.
