规则
A colon must follow a complete sentence. It introduces a list, an explanation or an example that explains what came before.
冒号前必须是完整句子。冒号引出解释前文的列表、说明或例子。
✔ 正确： The study had one clear goal: to measure ocean warming.
✘ 错误： The study measured: temperature, salinity and depth.
→ 改正： Remove the colon: "The study measured temperature, salinity and depth."
技巧: Ask: is the part before the colon a complete sentence? If not, do not use a colon.
