규칙
A sentence needs a subject and a main (finite) verb and must express a complete idea. A group of words without these is a fragment.
문장에는 주어와 본동사(시제가 있는 동사)가 있어야 하고 완전한 생각을 나타내야 합니다. 이것이 없는 말 덩어리는 문장 조각(fragment)입니다.
✔ 맞는 문장: The museum, which opened in 1990, attracts many visitors.
✘ 틀린 문장: The museum, which opened in 1990 and attracts many visitors.
→ 고치는 법: Remove "and" so that "attracts" becomes the main verb.
요령: Cover the extra information between commas. If what remains has no main verb, it is a fragment.
