ルール
When "and, but, or, so, yet, for, nor" join two complete sentences, put a comma before the conjunction. Do not use a comma when the conjunction joins only two verbs or phrases.
and、but、or、so、yet、for、norが2つの完全な文をつなぐときは接続詞の前にコンマを置く。2つの動詞や句だけをつなぐときはコンマを使わない。
✔ 正しい文: The plan was simple, but it worked.
✘ 誤った文: The plan was simple but, it worked.
→ 直し方: Place the comma before "but", not after it.
コツ: Comma + FANBOYS joins two sentences. No comma when the second part has no subject (e.g. "She tested and confirmed it").
