A descriptive phrase at the start of a sentence must describe the noun that comes right after the comma. Otherwise it is a dangling modifier.
Frasa keterangan di awal kalimat harus menerangkan kata benda tepat setelah koma. Jika tidak, itu pewatas menggantung (dangling modifier).
✔ Benar: Walking along the beach, Ana found a fossil.
✘ Salah: Walking along the beach, a fossil was found by Ana.
→ Perbaikan: The person walking (Ana) must come right after the comma.
Tips: Ask "who is doing the opening action?" That noun must follow the comma.
