📖 SAT Literature
Practise reading fiction, poetry and drama the way the Digital SAT tests them: implicit meaning, tone, structure and the flow of a passage.
How to approach this task
- Read the source line first: is it a novel, a poem or a play, and from when?
- Ask what the passage suggests, not only what it states — tone, word choice and imagery carry meaning.
- For poems, read to the end of each sentence, not just each line.
Practice: 49 questions
Passages marked "from" a named work are authentic excerpts from works published before 1929 (public domain). All other passages are original texts written for AUSLEX. Questions are not College Board material.
