समापिका और असमापिका क्रियाएँ

Finite and non-finite verbs

नियम

A clause needs a finite verb (a verb with tense). "-ing" forms and "to + verb" cannot be the main verb on their own.

उपवाक्य को कालयुक्त समापिका क्रिया चाहिए। -ing रूप और "to + क्रिया" अकेले मुख्य क्रिया नहीं बन सकते।

✔ सही: The new law requires all buildings to have solar panels.

✘ ग़लत: The new law requiring all buildings to have solar panels.

→ सुधार: Change "requiring" to "requires" so the sentence has a main verb.

सुझाव: If the sentence has no other main verb, choose the option with tense (e.g. "requires", "required").
